Dr. Khaled Manaa Al-Kattan, Dean of Alfaisal University’s College of Medicine, disclosed the plan during a presentation with a visiting Australian delegation.

Alfaisal University participated as a silver sponsor in the 1st Saudi Innovation Exhibition (Ibtikar), organized by King Abdulaziz & his Companions Foundation for the Gifted, from 9 to 13 March 2008 at the Four Seasons Hotel- Kingdom Tower.

The exhibition attracted 37 exhibitors along with 67 inventors and attracted 35,000 visitors, bringing representatives from KSA education providers face to face with prospective local students. Alfaisal University was among the top end exhibiting institutions positioning itself as an innovative and high tech University delivering the best of international education in KSA.

First hand information was provided to a variety of students exploring the opportunity for study at Alfaisal, with the opportunity to discuss curriculum, sponsorship programs and the UPP program.

The exhibition further provided Alfaisal University with a platform to develop and strengthen links with local and national educational providers.

The participation as a silver sponsor in the unique Ibtikar exhibition proved a success in both positioning the University, raising its profile and attracting a large number of aspiring and promising students.

Exhibitions like this provide an excellent opportunity for Alfaisal University to be seen among the most renowned and reputable institutions and furthermore provide an opening for prospective students to meet university representatives.
