We would like to share the news of this prestigious event attended by Dr Dana Bakheet, Vice Dean for Women, College of Medicine, Alfaisal University, together with student representatives proudly representing the College of Medicine.
The International Quality & Safety Conference was held on November 3-5 in Jeddah.
The College of Medicine students together with Dr Dana supported a booth, presented posters, delivered presentations and answered questions on this important aspect of healthcare provision.
Dr. Ramzi Abuzahrieh (Deputy Chief Quality Officer-KFSHRC, Jeddah) in the opening ceremony applauded Alfaisal University as an excellent example of promoting patient safety awareness at the level of undergraduate medical students. Dr. Hassan AlRayes (Chief Quality Officer, TQM) was amazed by the level of knowledge and interaction of the students at the Alfaisal University booth. Dr. Ann Marie McGinity (COO, Houston Methodist Global Healthcare Services, USA) was impressed by Alfaisal University students’ QPS activities and research.
