The strategic research funds for NPSTI are administered by the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). The proposals, which had previously been recommended for funding, were resubmitted through the King Faisal Specialist Hospital &amp; Research Centre (KFSHRC), where all three faculty members hold adjunct appointments.<\/p>\n<p>The successful \u00a0faculty (PI) and projects are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Paul Ganguly<\/b> (Project Title: <i>Cardiac Function Hyper homomocysteinemie<\/i>)<\/li>\n<li><b>Ahmed Yaqinuddin<\/b> ( Project Title: <i>Identification of Novel Diagnostic and Prognostic Markers for Bladder Cancer through Whole Genome Methylation Profiling<\/i>)<\/li>\n<li><b>Peter Kvietys<\/b> ( Project Title: <i>Role of\u00a0 T Cells in LPS-Induced Lung Inflammation and Dysfunction<\/i>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On behalf of the <i>Office of Research &amp; Graduate Studies<\/i>, we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the successful faculty members.<\/p>\n<p>NPSTI proposals have deadlines of September and March each year.
