{"id":6715,"date":"2025-11-02T13:08:59","date_gmt":"2025-11-02T13:08:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.alfaisal.edu\/?p=6715"},"modified":"2025-11-02T13:08:59","modified_gmt":"2025-11-02T13:08:59","slug":"alfaisal-university-college-of-pharmacy-achieves-1st-place-at-ksapt-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.alfaisal.edu\/en\/alfaisal-university-college-of-pharmacy-achieves-1st-place-at-ksapt-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Alfaisal University College of Pharmacy Achieves 1st Place at KSAPT 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>October 30, 2025:<\/strong> Alfaisal University \u2013 College of Pharmacy proudly concluded its successful participation in\u00a0<strong>the 6th International Conference on Pharmacy and Toxicology (KSAPT 2025)<\/strong>\u00a0in Dammam and Riyadh, marking an inspiring milestone for the College on both academic and competitive fronts.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, our outstanding students,\u00a0<strong>Nouf Almuribedh<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 5 PharmD),\u00a0<strong>Marwan Alhosainy<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 5 MBBS), and\u00a0<strong>Omran Alsuhaibany<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 4 Science), took part in the\u00a0<strong>Arab Toxicology Competition<\/strong>, demonstrating dedication, scientific knowledge, and teamwork.<\/p>\n<p>The College also presented two research studies supervised by\u00a0<strong>Dr. Ibrahim Salman<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Comparison and Evaluation of AI-Generated Versus Expert-Authored MCQs in Cardiovascular Physiology Education<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Authors: Ibrahim Salman, Rahaf Yaseen, Arwa Alhaj Issa, Ghada Dahman, Noura Jandali, Hussam Alhamad, and Omar Ameer<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfc6\u00a0The team was <strong>Awarded 1st Place in the Students\u2019 Competition, surpassing national and international Arab universities, and marking a new outstanding international achievement for our College.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Accuracy of ChatGPT-Generated Toxicology Monographs Compared with Lexicomp: A Dual-Reviewer Evaluation Across Ten Drugs<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Authors: Ibrahim Salman, Rahaf Yaseen, Arwa Alhaj Issa, Yusra Almeshale, Farah Alani, Hussam Alhamad, and Omar Ameer<\/p>\n<p>We thank our Year 6 students:\u00a0<strong>Ghada Dahman<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Noura Jandali<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Hussam Alhamad<\/strong>\u00a0for delivering powerful and confident presentations that received high praise from the KSAPT judging panel, described as \u201c<em>remarkable projects that perfectly aligned with every single theme of the conference.<\/em>\u201d We extend heartfelt\u00a0congratulations\u00a0to all of them for serving as role models for their peers and proudly showcasing our expanding research excellence.<\/p>\n<p>Special appreciation goes to Dr. Ibrahim Salman for his dedicated supervision and continuous support throughout every step of the students\u2019 journey. Our gratitude is also extended to our Teaching Assistants, Dr. Rahaf Yaseen and Dr. Arwa Al Haj Issa for their exceptional contributions to both research projects and for being continuous sources of motivation and guidance for our student team.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the academic engagement, the College was also represented in the conference exhibition, where our booth received wonderful attention from attendees.
