The event is organized into three seminars conducted by two international speakers from Saudi Oger Abu Dhabi,\u00a0<strong>Winn W Gomez<\/strong>,\u00a0BIM Manager at Oger International Abu Dhabi, and\u00a0<strong>A<\/strong><strong>mar\u00a0Ashfaq<\/strong>, BIM Consultant at Oger International Abu Duabi.\u00a0The first seminar was an Introduction to BIM by <strong>Winn W Gomez<\/strong>; the second was on Implementing BIM in a Project, by <strong>A<\/strong><strong>mar Ashfaq<\/strong>; and the final seminar was on the use of BIM in Louvre Abu Dhabi which was presented by Winn W Gomez.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1789\" src=\"http:\/\/10.22.4.40\/news3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/5565.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"435\" height=\"290\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The CoE students and\u00a0faculty had engaged in fruitful discussions on the use of this technology in enhancing the documentation of architectural systems.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-864\" src=\"http:\/\/10.22.4.40\/news3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/5454.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"428\" height=\"285\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Acting Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Nidal Nasser, said that \u201cHaving this event is one of our goals in the College to keep our students up-to-date with new technologies in the market and successfully used by the well-known international companies like Oger International.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-865\" src=\"http:\/\/10.22.4.40\/news3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/6553.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"327\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CoE organized the Building\u00a0Information\u00a0Modeling (BIM) Event at Alfaisal University on October 21, 2015 where we had over 100\u00a0attendees for&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10,"featured_media":865,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[128,129],"tags":[],"college-department":[{"term_id":10,"name":"College of Engineering","slug":"college-of-engineering","term_group":0,"term_taxonomy_id":10,"taxonomy":"college-department","description":"","parent":0,"count":272,"filter":"raw"}],"class_list":["post-7448","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-events","category-news-archive","college-department-college-of-engineering"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.7 -
