The Implication for Riyadh: Towards a redevelopment strategy of Riyadh\u2019s CBD\u201d seminar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The College of Engineering hosted a seminar presented by Dr. Hassan M Hegab, Ph.D. in Planning &amp; Public Policy with Specialty in Urban Economic Development.<\/p>\n<p>The talk addressed the past and present urban development trends and the roles of cities in the economic development with reference to urbanization, counter-urbanization, &amp; re-urbanization and highlighted some of the newly urban concepts such as: Smart Urbanism, Transport Oriented Developments, Green Buildings and Smart Cities.
