We are proud to announce that Prof Paul Ganguly Professor of Anatomy College of Medicine is honoured to be invited to attend the 5th World Conference on Diabetes & Metabolism as a guest speaker. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘”To translate and harnass the Novel Therapies in Diabetes”.
The conference will be held this year in Las Vegas on 3-5th November. Event organisers, OMIC S Group International is dedicated to serve the scientific community by creating a platform where decision makers, experts and researchers at international level from academia and industry can meet, address and strive to overcome new challenges and emerging issues in Diabetes management.
Professor Ganguly’s presentation entitled “Diabetes, Hyperhomocysteinemia and Stroke” will aim to examine the link between methylenetetrahydrofolatereductase (MTHFR) mutation and increased risk of ischemic heart disease in patients with Diabetes.
Rising statistics prove that Diabetes has reached global epidemiological proportions and has associated risks of heart disease and stroke. This conference will focus on this significant global problem and how management strategies must change in the light of new research. Professor Ganguly will present his research findings on this cardiovascular risk factor which until recently was not clarified as being significant.
On behalf of the College of Medicine we wish Prof Ganguly well with his delivery of this presentation and his ongoing research.
