Alfaisal Alumna Tarfa Al-Shubayli Completes Rhodes Scholarship with Distinction

Alfaisal University alumna Tarfa Al-Shubayli has earned her Masters’ degree in Energy Systems with distinction from Oxford University as an honorable Rhodes Scholar. Graduating from Alfaisal in 2021, she received the Rhodes Trust Scholarship in 2023.

Addressing this milestone, she expressed gratitude to her family, professors, and peers for their support, particularly thanking Alfaisal faculty members Professors Muhammad Alagil, Abd-Elhamid Taha, Areej Al-Wabil, and Ahmed Oteafy. She shared that her journey was filled with challenges and the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional peers from diverse fields, gaining insights that complemented her academic curriculum.
