Alfaisal University is proud to announce that the industrial design for the Pegboard device for rehabilitation has been officially recognized and granted a certificate by the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP).
Designed by Eng. Abdullah Adam in collaboration with Eng. Faisal Aldubaib and Dr. Areej Al-Wabil as part of the Alfaisal University CoCreate initiative, the pegboard device is an innovative solution designed to aid in the rehabilitation process by improving patients’ fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. This tool is essential for those recovering from injuries, stroke, surgeries involving the hands and arms, hand tremors etc. providing a practical and effective method for physical therapy.
Eng. Abdullah Adam and Eng Faisal Aldubaib are Alfaisal College of Engineering alumni and founders of UpDown Studios- a game development studio specializing in creating innovative and immersive gameplay experiences. Eng. Abdullah Adam also currently offers his time as a teaching assistant at the College of Engineering at Alfaisal University.
