Financial planning can be done on your own or with a professional. Financial planning is very important as it supplements the social security income. He explained how social security is designed to provide help in areas such as old age pension, elderly health care, occupational hazard, maternity leaves, and unemployment insurance.
H.E Mr. Al-Gwaiz then focused on challenges facing prudent financial planning and financial mis-management consequences. Some of the challenges could be culture that doesn’t encourage financial discipline; income is spent as it is received; poor investment decisions, and exaggerated expectations from government.
