Another proud moment for the College of Medicine!
Dr. Raid Alhayaza and Dr. Eman Haque, our 5th year students, have recently published a review article titled, The Relationship Between Reactive Oxygen Species and Endothelial Cell Metabolism in Frontiers journal with an impact factor of 3.693. Dr. Raid and Dr. Eman are first and second authors on this research paper, respectively.
This publication is a result of their hard work from their SPIRIT research internship at the Cardiovascular Research Center, Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University Alpert Medical School.
The SPIRIT program is one of the flagship programs of the College of Medicine and is run by the International Office under the Medical Students Association. Every year the SPIRIT program accommodates about 50 students in various research internships abroad, mainly in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
The Dean of College of Medicine, Prof. Khaled AlKattan, and Vice Dean of College of Medicine, Dr. Akef Obeidat, on behalf of the Alfaisal family, deliver their warmest congratulations to Dr. Raid and Dr. Eman on their well-deserved achievement.
