On October 30, 2021, Sara Zaid Alshaghroud, a third-year software engineering student has been awarded the second prize in Huawei ICT Competition on the regional stage. Huawei ICT Middle East 2021 is a competitive ICT talent exchange event for college students across the middle east. To promote the healthy development of the ICT talent ecosystem, support the integration of industry and education. The award was a result of a quiz-based assessment on the area of network protocols, Machine learning, and Deep Learning.
College of Engineering at Alfaisal University is very proud of its innovative and proactive students like Sara Zaid Alshaghroud. Also, thankful to the Huawei- Saudi Arabia team who facilitated the communication and explained the details of the competition through a virtual talk to Alfaisal engineering student.
