Dr. Mohammed Al Surf, Regional Manager for USGBC (U. S. Green Building Council) pronounced the lecture “Pathway to being a Green Building professional” invited by the Chairman of the Architectural Department of the College of Engineering Dr. Saad AlGhamdi. Dr. Mohammed went from general explanations about the topic to insights and prospections about relevant indicators that affect not only the performance of buildings but the global environment to a greater extent.
Some future good news were shared with the audience in relation to a forthcoming activity that will allow students and faculty members to become Green Building professionals. After a very interesting and full of data presentation, Dr. Mohamed met with the President of AU, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hayaza, CoE Dean, Dr. Muhammad Anan and Architecture Engineering Department Chair, Dr. Saad AlGhamdi.
