Dear Colleagues and Students,
U.S. News and World Report has released their Top 2016 U.S. News Arab Region Universities Rankings, and I am pleased to announce that out of the 125 universities reviewed that Alfaisal received a ranking of 12th overall. For the Kingdom, we were 5th overall for both public and private universities; as well as the highest ranked of the private universities.
I know that we are all extremely proud and honored by this recognition. In receiving this acknowledgment, we must remember that this ranking is not an end unto itself but rather a validation of who we are, what we do and what we believe: faith, knowledge and performance as expressed by His Majesty, the late King Faisal.
I am very pleased that U.S. News & World Report has recognized our brilliant faculty, our outstanding students, and our expanding research enterprise. Keep up the great work everyone, and in continuing to do so, I am confident that we will receive an even higher ranking next year. As we move forward with our collaborations, partnerships and strategic initiatives that will contribute significantly in making Alfaisal University one of the best research universities both regionally and globally – your great work, both inside and outside of the classroom, is the most important contribution and the greatest.
