Student Research Presentation

The College of Medicine, Alfaisal University would like to share another celebration of student achievement.

On February 16-17 Dr Dana Bakheet, Vice Dean for Women, College of Medicine together with Mr Arafah a Medical Student from the College of Medicine who will graduate in June of this year, attended a Conference in London on Human Genetics.

It is with great pleasure to announce that Mr Arafah presented his research findings at the Conference. The presentation was entitled ‘Prevalence of CYP2D6 and its implications for Personalised Medicine in Saudi Arabs’.

Mr Arafah performed his genetic research project at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Riyadh, under the supervision of Dr Dana Bakheet, Vice Dean for Women, College of Medicine. We would like to congratulate Mr Arafah on his successful presentation. Well done.
