On 14th of February 2019, the IEEE student branch in Alfaisal University organized a trip to Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC) for attending the second Saudi International exhibition and conference for Internet of Things (IoT). The event was held from 13th -15th February.
The objective of this event was to provide international participants a platform to share their knowledge and experience in advanced technologies and also an ideal platform for the entrepreneurs and business people to share their ideas and promote the digital sector. This event also hosted the Cyber Defense Summit (CDS) which aimed to develop solutions to tackle the digital security challenges the country is facing.
The event showcased the latest advances in internet technologies. Besides the conference, this event provided an exclusive platform for start-up companies, technology exhibitions including live demonstration areas and interactive workshops. Faculties and students from the College of Engineering attended the event. The event provided the attendees with a valuable learning experience and an excellent opportunity to interact with the number of exhibitors and professionals in and outside the country.
