The academic community at Alfaisal University is excited to announce that three distinguished faculty members—Dr. Farid Amalou, Dr. Ibrahim M. Salman, and Dr. Nidal Nasser—have been chosen to represent the Kingdom at the upcoming Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2025. This prestigious event is set to take place from April 9 to 13, 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland.
Dr. Ibrahim M. Salman will showcase his innovative research titled “Low-level neurostimulation of the renal nerves as a potential therapeutic strategy for hypertension treatment,” published in Frontiers in Pharmacology. This study emphasizes the promise of neurostimulation as a novel approach to treating hypertension, highlighting the faculty’s dedication to advancing medical science.
Additionally, Dr. Farid Amalou, an Assistant Professor of Physics, will present his WIPO-certified project, WO2021191658 – COMPUTER MOUSE.Professor Nidal Nasser, a Professor of Software Engineering, will introduce his innovation, “Novel Molecular Signaling Method and System for Molecular Communication in the Human Body.” This project was developed in collaboration with Professor Ben Liang from the University of Toronto and Professor Abdulaziz Al Helali, an Assistant Professor of Software Engineering at Prince Sultan University.
