The EVOMUN x Alfaisal conference, held from November 28th to 30th, 2024, was hosted and organized by the Alfaisal Model United Nations (MUN) Club. Over 203 students from more than 30 high schools across the Riyadh area participated, making this a truly diverse and collaborative event. Alfaisal University, with its strong international and multicultural environment, ensured that every delegate felt welcome, comfortable, and heard. This inclusive atmosphere allowed students to engage in meaningful discussions on pressing global issues, gaining valuable international perspectives by approaching these challenges from the viewpoints of different nations.
The conference was structured around committees modeled after the United Nations, each focusing on specific global concerns. It began with an opening ceremony, setting the stage for the event. Following the ceremony, delegates moved into their respective committees, where they participated in debates, negotiations, and collaborative problem-solving, all while honing their diplomatic, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
The event culminated in a closing ceremony, where outstanding delegates were recognized for their achievements. EVOMUN x Alfaisal emphasized the importance of gaining an international perspective and fostered an understanding of the critical role of global cooperation in addressing the world’s most urgent challenges. The conference also aligned with Saudi Arabia’s educational priorities and Vision 2030, inspiring youth to become active global citizens, engage with international issues, and contribute to strengthening the Kingdom’s role in fostering international partnerships, leadership, and a deeper understanding of the world.

Looking ahead, the Alfaisal Model United Nations Club will host its next university-level regional MUN conference in February 2025, furthering its mission to promote global engagement and empower the next generation of leaders.
