Alfaisal University’s representative team from the College of Law and International Relations showcased incredible skill at the 15th Annual Middle East Willem C. Vis Pre-Moot in Abu Dhabi, advancing to the finals and achieving Second Place amongst 18 participating teams from 11 countries.Held from February 3-7 in Abu Dhabi, the Pre-Moot took teams of law students through simulations of real-life cases to test their skills, assessed by renowned specialists in the field who offered feedback, advice and encouragement invaluable to the students’ future development. Middle East Vis Pre-Moot proved to be a seedbed for budding dispute resolution leaders in the region, providing a unique formative experience that increases awareness of international commercial arbitration and raises standards of advocacy.

Notably, two of our talented students stood out as Best Oralists —Ms. Nora Alobaikan (2nd Best Oralist) and Ms. Asiya A. Bashiti (4th Best Oralist)—receiving postgraduate scholarships to the University of Pittsburgh for their stellar performance.
