Alfaisal University’s College of Medicine marked the beginning of the new academic year 2024-2025 with an engaging Orientation Day, welcoming over 500 first-year medical students in our MBBS program on August 18th at the Princess Haya Auditorium. The event provided a comprehensive introduction to the curriculum, assessment strategies, and essential IT tools that will support students throughout their academic journey.
Esteemed guests, including College Dean Professor Khaled Al-Kattan and Vice Dean Dr. Baraa Alghalyini, delivered welcoming remarks, setting an inspiring tone for the day. Faculty members offered detailed overviews of the academic path ahead, while senior students played a key role in guiding the newcomers through platforms like Moodle and the “My Alfaisal” app. The event also introduced students to the Medical Students’ Association, ensuring they were well-prepared with the resources, support, and opportunities available to succeed at Alfaisal.
