Preparing our Health Workforce for Tomorrow
Canadian International Health Education Association (CIHEA) Mission to Saudi Arabia
April 8, 2018.
Hosted by Alfaisal University on April 8, 2018, the mission involved delegates from 22 of Canada’s leading health care organizations specializing in health professions, education, and training. CIHEA is an important stakeholder representing the best of what Canada can offer to health care partners in the Middle East and GCC. The organization is committed to sharing much sought after Canadian expertise on a global level with new and existing partners in all aspects of health care.
Leveraging Canada’s strengths in health care and education, and drawing on a legacy of knowledge exchange between the GCC and Canada in health workforce development, we believe that CIHEA’s trade mission will deepen our ties with existing partners, build new and valuable relationships, and substantially contribute to ongoing and planned investments throughout the health sector, as quoted by Dr. Andre Padmos, Chair of the CIHEA Board.
