College of Business invited Mr. Khaled S. Al-Muhaisen to be part of the college’s Lecture Series. Mr. Khaled S. Al-Muhaisen, Global Leader People & Organization, Corporate HR, at SABIC. Mr. Al-Muhaisen is an experienced Executive with global experience in leading teams from the Americas, Europe, Middle East and APAC regions. He is currently the Global Leader of SABIC’s – People & Organization function, a key enabler of human capital, value creation and transformation agenda. In addition, Mr. Al-Muhaisen is the current Head of HR for SABIC’s Americas region and is based full-time in the Houston HQ. Joining Mr. Al-Muhaisen is Mr. Abdulaziz NAIF Al-Hazmi, Senior Manager of Data Management function at SABIC.
The lecture titled “SABIC Young Leadership Council was presented to the students of College of Business. The presentation took place on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in the Lecture Theatre (F) & over 130 students attended online through Zoom.
Mr. Al- Muhaisen started the lecture by giving an overview of SABIC and how SABIC is ideally placed and fully committed to helping lead the way to the realization of Vision 2030. He emphasized the importance of the program to encourage young employees to shape SABIC’s future, to provide recommendations & honest candid feedback, and to ensure voices from all regions and level of the organization are heard.
Mr. Abdulaziz from the Data Management division at SABIC then spoke about the program guidelines and engagement approach. He went in details about the program structure and talent potentials. He stressed to students the goal of the program to think big and to focus on opportunities to create value. He concluded the lecture by sharing success stories of the program.
The lecture is part of College of Business Executive Lecture Series to provide Alfaisal University students and guests from the business community the opportunity to learn from some of the country’s leading executives and leaders as they talk about their experiences. College of Business sponsors the weekly Executive Lecture Series to bridge the gap between the world of leadership and business education.
