We are proud to announce another achievement by one of our College of Medicine students.
Mr Khalid Zaza recently shared in publishing in the Journal of Pharmacy & Pharmacology which is part of Wiley online library, Genotypting of CYP2C19 polymorphisms and its clinical validation in the ethnic Arab population.

Mr Zaza who will graduate in June worked at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre as part of an approved IRB research project entitled, ‘Distribution of Different CYP2C19 Polymorphism in King Faisal Special Hospital & Research Centre Cardiac Patient and Clinical Response to Clopidgrel (Plavix).’ This was under the supervision of Dr Dana Bakheet, Vice Dean for Women, College of Medicine, Alfaisal University.
