Alfaisal University opened its doors to welcome the newest cohort of students at the Convocation Ceremony 2024-2025 on Tuesday, the 27th of August. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of HRH Princess Lolowah Alfaisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and the General Supervisor of Effat University- marking the beginning of a new academic journey for hundreds of aspiring learners.
HRH Princess Lolowah Alfaisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud took to the stage to deliver a keynote address, inspiring the incoming class with her profound words of wisdom. Her Royal Highness emphasized the importance of commitment, dedication, and collaboration in achieving one’s goals. Reflecting on the legacy of the historic Al-Maather Palace, which lies at the heart of Alfaisal University, Her Royal Highness reminded the students that just as the Palace witnessed the rise of the Kingdom, they too are poised to lead the Kingdom through this next chapter of progress and prosperity. She urged the students to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and to persevere in their endeavors, no matter the obstacles they encounter.
Dr. Mohammed Alhayaza, President of Alfaisal University, delivered a warm and welcoming address to the freshmen students. He highlighted the university’s rich history, academic excellence, and commitment to providing a nurturing environment for students to thrive. He also offered valuable words of guidance and advice to help the students navigate their university life.
The ceremony showcased the unity at Alfaisal University bringing together all members of the community— from the Vice President to deans, faculty, staff and parents — to celebrate the arrival of the incoming students and wish them success in their academic pursuits.
