Alfaisal University hosted a talk by the esteemed Professor. Helen Batty from the University of Toronto, titled ‘Intersectionality between Interprofessional Education and Reflective Portfolios.’ Faculty members from all colleges attended to hear Professor Batty’s insights on interprofessional collaboration and reflective practice.
Drawing from over 45 years of experience, Prof. Batty emphasized the critical role of reflective portfolios in fostering deeper learning and collaboration among healthcare professionals. She also explored how reflective portfolios can be integrated into educational frameworks to enhance student and faculty development.
The event concluded with networking session where attendees engaged in one-on-one discussions with Prof. Batty, exploring potential opportunities for collaborations. Faculty members left inspired by practical insights shared and the potential for incorporating interprofessional education practices into their own teaching.
