The International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences has awarded “Paul Ganguly Award” a top cardiologist, Dr. Gary Lopaschuk, Edmonton, Canada as a Distinguished Lecture Award in Cardiovascular Science in a recent meeting of International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences (IACS) held recently in Houston, Texas, USA on September 19-21, 2024. The award is in the name of Dr. Paul Ganguly, Professor of Anatomy at Alfaisal COM, and the Academy awards “Paul Ganguly Award” annually distinguished speakers in cardiovascular science.
As a life member, Dr. Ganguly often participates in various activities/meetings of the academy. He feels honored as the academy has allowed him to establish two endowment funds; one for the Indian section (Paul and Riya Ganguly award for workshop in diabetes) and the other for the North American Section (Paul Ganguly distinguished lecture Award).
