The first MESTRO symposium was held on December 2nd & 3rd, 2022 at Alfaisal University. (Chairman: Dr. Saad Al Rashidi, MBBS, FRCPC, DRCPSC)
The goal of the symposium was to foster collaboration between networking Radiation
Professionals, Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Dosimetrists, Therapists, Clinical
Engineers, allied Oncology specialties and Nurses from Turkey to Oman, Saudi Arabia to
Pakistan, and beyond.
The forum emphasized on training, research, and universal networking in the field to improve patient care. Highlights included: international keynote speakers addressing cutting-edge studies and technology, educational opportunities, CME accreditation, along with expert regional and national top speakers in the field. Breakout sessions alternated with educational sessions for each tumor site as well as podium scientific presentations, and poster sessions.

Radiobiology, Dosimetry, Systematic Therapy including up to date Immunotherapies, Targeted Therapy and more.
