10 Engineering students were nominated for the PwC sports hackathon, which they attended and solved real-life problems in the sports field.
Lian Alakeel, Lina Alattas, Alya Alsheikh, Basma yamni, Haifa Alnashmi, Maryam Alarnous, Nouf Al Showeir, Yasmin Alsharif, and Njoud Aldablan.
This was held at the PwC academy in the kingdom tower. Students from different universities brainstormed from 9:00am to 4:00pm, and then pitched their ideas to the judges.
Students from Alfaisal (Lian Alhedaithy & Yasmin Alsharif) along with their team from another university won first place with their pitch “AI for motion”, and Alfaisal student (Lian Alakeel) along her team from other universities, won second place with their pitch “Feel the game”.
This women hackathon was a great way for students to tackle real life issues.
