Talk by Mr. Ibrahim Alhelali, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network in Saudi Arabia.

On Wednesday February 7th, a talk was introduced by Mr. Ibrahim Alhelali, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network in Saudi Arabia. The talk offered students a unique opportunity to explore the transformative impact of corporate sustainability and responsible business practices.

Mr. Alhelali shared experiences on the global and local efforts led by the UN Global Compact, aligning companies with SDGs, and universal principles for positive social and environmental change. Key points of the talk included understanding SDGs, the role of the UN Global Compact, local initiatives in Saudi Arabia, and ways to engage the future generation in driving sustainable development.

This session also aimed to foster awareness and active participation in achieving the SDGs on various levels within the Saudi Context.
