The 5th Boeing Engineering Student Competition and the Annual Engineering Design Expo were held on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Alfaisal University’s College of Engineering. Both graduate and undergraduate students submitted creative concepts for the competition, all of which adhered to a general theme of engineering innovation.
44 undergraduate and graduate-level projects from 104 students from all engineering specialties offered by the College of Engineering were presented at the event. Future commercial product development may be possible for some of these projects.
The Awards Ceremony of this competition was held under the patronage of H.R.H. Dr. Maha Bint Mishari Al Saud, Vice President of External Relations. And the keynote address at this award ceremony was delivered by Ms. Nicola-Jane Bates, Senior Manager of Global Accelerators and Innovation Programs & Strategy and Corporate Development at Boing.
Three prizes will be awarded for each track, as follows: SAR 4,000 for first place, SAR 2,500 for second place, and SAR 1,500 for third place
