Riyadh – June 20, 2026: More than 200 runners gathered at Alfaisal University for the Fourth Journey to 5K Race Day 2026, an annual community race that celebrated health, wellbeing, and active living. The event continues to grow as one of the University’s flagship wellbeing initiatives, promoting physical activity while strengthening connections between Alfaisal community and the Kingdom’s growing running community.
The race welcomed participants across a broad range of age groups, with 50% aged 20–30, 35% aged 30–40, and 15% aged 40–50. Among the participants were 10 Alfaisal University runners from the University Preparatory Program (UPP) and the College of Medicine (COM), competing alongside members of the wider community.

The race was organized by the Alfaisal Wellbeing Office (AWO) in collaboration with the WeRun Team, reflecting a shared commitment to encouraging healthy lifestyles and creating inclusive opportunities for community participation through sport.
The event was supported by the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA), and sponsored by Kamin Sports and Echo, while more than 20 volunteers and organizers contributed to the successful delivery of the race.
