In this meeting, Dr. Paul Ganguly received “Distinguished Service Award For Promoting Heart Health”.

Representing Alfaisal University COM, and in addition to Dr. Paul Ganguly, Drs. Abrar Barakzai, Shawkat Ali, and Shahid Akhund attended the award ceremony during the IACS Conference in Winnipeg, Canada from July 21 to July 23, 2026, together with two fourth year medical students joining through the SPIRIT Program. This recognition is another milestone that places Alfaisal University prominently on the global map of cardiovascular research and academic excellence.
