Alfaisal University students achieved outstanding success at the La Fabrique International Game Jam, held at the JAX District in Riyadh, securing 1st, 2nd, and 4th places among highly competitive local and international teams
The three-day Game Jam was organized by the Institut français d’Arabie saoudite in partnership with ISART Digital, one of the world’s top-ranked game design schools, and supported through collaboration with Alfaisal University’s Game Innovation Center. The event challenged participants to design and develop original video game prototypes within 72 hours, under the mentorship of industry experts.

First Place Win and International Recognition
An Alfaisal student team earned First Place, winning the Grand Prize: a one-week educational trip to France, which includes visits to ISART Digital, exposure to the French video game ecosystem, and cultural landmarks.

In addition other Alfaisal teams achieved 2nd and 4th places, marking a strong overall university presence on the winners’ podium.

Further National Success at KSAU Hackathon
Continuing this momentum, Alfaisal University students also distinguished themselves at the KSAU Hackathon, where the “Kashif” project team ranked within the Top 10% of finalists out of 1,900 international projects. Notably, this was the only team from Alfaisal University to reach this advanced stage.
