Professor Hana Hajeer, Professor and Chair of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine and Director of the Mentorship Program at the College of Medicine, was recognized as one of four distinguished alumni at the Worldwide Alumni Association of the American University of Beirut (WAAAUB) Riyadh event.
The gathering highlighted women contributing to professional and academic sectors across Saudi Arabia. Professor Fakhoury Hajeer was acknowledged for her role in academic leadership and medical education.
In addition to her departmental leadership, Professor Fakhoury Hajeer serves as Director of the College of Medicine Mentorship Program. Founded in 2016, the program pairs students with faculty mentors to provide academic and personal guidance, support professional growth, and equip students with resources for success throughout their medical studies.
