Qatar, January 21–25, 2026 — Alfaisal University’s Shell Eco-marathon team proudly marked a major milestone with its first-ever participation in the Shell Eco-marathon Qatar, held at the iconic Lusail International Circuit. Representing the University, Alfaisal’s Prototype Battery Electric Vehicle (Code 338) competed on the international stage, showcasing student-led innovation, engineering excellence, and a strong commitment to sustainable mobility.
After successfully passing all technical and safety inspections, the team earned its place on track and completed the official Mileage Challenge run, marking a significant achievement in their debut participation.

- 2nd place in the Middle East region
- 2nd place among Saudi teams
- 2nd place among GCC teams
- 11th place in the Prototype category
