Alfaisal University and Honeywell Technologies Sign MoU to Explore Student Internships and Alumni Employment Opportunities

Agreement establishes a framework to advance joint research, industry-ready curricula, and career pathways for students

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, 01 November 2026: Alfaisal University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Honeywell Technologies, establishing a framework for cooperation in joint research, curriculum development, student internships, and post-graduation employment. The MoU was signed by Dr. Khaled Al-Kattan, Vice President for Finance and Administration and Dean of the College of Medicine at Alfaisal University, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Juffali, President of Honeywell Technologies in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The two parties will explore joint research programs involving Alfaisal students, faculty, and staff; curricula that equip students with the skills the private sector needs; internships; and employment programs for recent alumni, subject to separate arrangements where applicable.

The agreement builds on Alfaisal University’s strategy of expanding opportunities for its students, faculty, and staff through collaborations with the private sector. Since its founding by the King Faisal Foundation in 2002, the University has combined teaching, research, and industry engagement within a student-centered environment that aims for international standards of excellence.

Dr. Khaled Al-Kattan said: “Our collaboration with Honeywell Technologies reflects Alfaisal University’s commitment to giving our students the skills and experience that employers value today. By bringing industry expertise into our curricula and research, we aim to help our students and alumni build the skills that open real career opportunities.”

He added: “Research at Alfaisal University has always been rooted in real-world challenges. Working alongside a global technology company such as Honeywell Technologies gives our faculty and students new opportunities for applied research that serves industry and society, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”

Abdullah Al-Juffali commented: “Honeywell Technologies has been a longstanding partner in Saudi Arabia, and we remain focused on advancing the Kingdom’s localization priorities. Our strategic collaboration with Alfaisal University strengthens this commitment. By nurturing talent and building local capabilities, we are supporting Saudi Vision 2030, accelerating innovation and preparing the next generation of experts across mission-critical industries.”

The Alumni & Placement Relations Department, directed by HH Princess Aljohara bint Faisal bin Musaad Al Saud, will coordinate Alfaisal University’s implementation efforts with Honeywell Technologies’ Human Resources team.
