Best Paper Awarded to Dr. Nidal Nasser at Com Man Tel 2013 Vietnam

Alfaisal Congratulates Dr. Nidal Nasser, Associate Professor and Director of Electrical and Software Engineering programs, for receiving the Best Paper Award with Prof. Hossam Hassanein and Mr. Michael Liu (Queen’s University-Canada) for their paper “Heuristic Based Dynamic Spectrum Assignment in Cognitive Radio Network” at the International Conference on Computing, Management and Telecommunications (ComManTel 2013), held in Ho Chi Minh City-Vietnam. The Best Paper Award was received by Dr. Nasser during the Conference gala dinner.

The Conference is the premier international forum to discuss and review the current state of research in Computing, Management and Telecommunications and related topics.

The awarded paper proposes an efficient solution to improve spectrum utilization where different types of users and traffics co-exist in a wireless communications network.
