On the first day of the academic year, Alfaisal University College of Medicine welcomed its new students during an introductory Orientation Program. The event was conducted in Princess Haya Auditorium, and was attended by a total of 400 students from both genders, while maintaining social distancing and safety measures. The Program comprised a variety of sessions conducted by senior faculty and students and aimed to acquaint new students with the curriculum, rules and regulation, and activities at Alfaisal College of Medicine.
The day was inaugurated with a welcome speech by the Vice- President for Finance and Administration and Dean of College of Medicine Professor Khaled Al Kattan. The speech included words of motivation and interpretation of the University Mission and Vision. Being a nonprofit institution that aspires to be a world-class institution and a pioneer in innovation and knowledge applications, Alfaisal is a student-centered university that disseminates knowledge through world-class academic programs, research, and service that benefits humanity. The Dean expressed his full support for the students’ journey at Alfaisal and congratulated them on joining Alfaisal family.
