The 6th PwC Middle East Hackathon themed “Innovating Saudi Experiences”was held on Saturday, November 30th, 2024, under the Empower2030 program, as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative. The initiative focused on advancing innovation in the tourism and cultural sectors, driving impactful solutions through collaboration, creativity, and technology.
The event brought together 73 students from multiple universities to design solutions under two tracks:
-Creating interactive cultural experiences to highlight Saudi heritage
-Developing smart tourism management tools for seamless travel.
Supported by PwC mentors and guided by emerging technologies like generative AI, AR/VR, and no-code platforms, participants showcased their creativity through prototypes.
