Mr. Abdulrahman Moulay Albizioui, A Board Member and the Group Chief Financial Officer at Fawaz Alhokair Group, gave a lecture titled “What makes a good CFO” to the students of College of Business. The presentation took place on the 2nd of March 2015.
Mr. Abdulrahman started the lecture by introducing four faces of the CFO: Strategy and Creative Value, Stewardship, Operations and objectivity, and Catalyst.
Mr. Abdulrahman then spoke about what it takes to become a good CFO. He emphasized on operating rhythm, risk mitigation, continuing development and training, soft skills, managing expectations, and making friends. He concluded the lecture by speaking about CFO’s contributions which include: Development, Execution, and Enablement.
The lecture is part of College of Business Executive Lecture Series to provide Alfaisal University students and guests from the business community the opportunity to learn from some of the country’s leading executives as they talk about their careers and leadership experiences. College of Business sponsors the weekly Executive Lecture Series as a way to bridge the gap between the world of leadership and business education.
