Riyadh, 28th of January 2026: Alfaisal University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) on the sidelines of the International Conference on Data and AI Capacity Building (ICAN 2026), held in King Saud University, Riyadh.
The agreement aims to develop academic programs aligned with labor market needs in data and artificial intelligence, in addition to designing and delivering training programs, educational initiatives, and specialized bootcamps that support human capability development through joint efforts between the two institutions.
The MoU was signed by H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi, President of SDAIA, and H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Alhayaza, President of Alfaisal University.
This partnership reflects both institutions’ commitment to advancing Saudi Vision 2030 by strengthening education, innovation, and national talent development to lead the future of the digital economy and artificial intelligence.
