Orlando, May 26 – 29, 2026: Alfaisal University participated in the NAFSA 2026 Annual Conference & Expo, one of the world’s leading international higher education events, taking place in Orlando, United States, from May 26 to 29, 2026. The University joined the Saudi Ministry of Education pavilion alongside 20 Saudi universities, reflecting the Kingdom’s growing global academic presence and the ongoing transformation of the education sector in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
Through its strategic participation, Alfaisal University showcased the diversity of its advanced academic and research programs, including its internationally accredited graduate studies pathways that contribute to a thriving knowledge and innovation ecosystem. The University also highlighted its strengths in medicine, biomedical research, engineering, artificial intelligence, and business, as well as its commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and global collaborations that benefit its student and research body.
During the conference, the University delegation engaged in a series of bilateral meetings with leading international academic institutions to explore opportunities for academic cooperation, research partnerships, student exchange, and joint initiatives. Alfaisal University is also actively contributed to the activities and workshops held at the Saudi pavilion under the “Study in Saudi Arabia” initiative, which aims to position the Kingdom as a global destination for higher education and international students.
As part of the conference program, Alfaisal University presented a workshop titled “Thriving on Campus: Life at Alfaisal University,” delivered by Dr. Lana AlSaleh, Director of Development and Advancement, and Dr. Alice Jane Kinney, Director of the Academic Success Center. The session highlighted the University’s student-centered environment, academic expectations, support services, and strategies that help students succeed and build meaningful connections within the campus community.
The participation also provided an opportunity to strengthen academic and cultural exchange with universities and institutions from more than 110 countries and over 400 universities represented at the conference. Over four days of active engagement, the University reinforced its commitment to expanding its global academic footprint and strengthening international partnerships that support education, research, and innovation.
