The Department of Family and Community Medicine at Alfaisal University organized a series of educational field trips for medical students in collaboration with Second Health Cluster and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) as part of its experiential learning activities.
The field trips were conducted for both male and female students between Tuesday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 16, 2025, providing structured exposure to healthcare and emergency service environments. These visits were designed to support students’ understanding of healthcare systems, professional roles, and community-based services through guided observation and learning.
The students enjoyed these clinical components integrated into their block and curriculum with most of the students providing excellent feedback and remarks related to the experiential learning trips.
These field trips reflect Alfaisal University’s continued commitment to experiential learning and community engagement, supporting student development through structured, real-world educational experiences.
