The official establishment of Alfaisal Basic Life support Training Site

We are delighted to share with you the news of further great achievements of Alfaisal students from the College of Medicine. Under the leadership of Mamoud Sakkalaik 5^th Year student, Mamoud and his team, with the support of Dr Khaled AlKattan together with other faculty and staff from College of Medicine, established a Basic Life Support Site which has been internationally accredited by the American Heart Association.

The aim of this project is to allow medical students to have a tangible effect in serving the community by spreading Life Support Skills on a large scale here at Alfaisal University, the local community and beyond, at low cost.

The new site for Basic Life Support has been granted certification in the following areas:

• Training and certifying Alfaisal Student instructors by American Heart Association.
• Acquiring manikins and training equipment.
• Gaining appropriate Public Liability Insurance
• Passing site evaluation and course evaluation requirements.
