UNEC Contracting has been selected to undertake a major expansion of Alfaisal University’s infrastructure, supporting academic and research growth. The project, set to be completed within 24 months, will significantly enhance the university’s facilities.
His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Al-Hayaza, President of Alfaisal University, extended heartfelt gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for their unwavering support of education in the Kingdom. He also expressed appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Vice Chairman, and His Highness Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid, Chairman of the Executive Committee, for their continuous guidance and dedication to the university’s success.
Dr. Al-Hayaza emphasized that this expansion aligns with the university’s vision to become one of the world’s leading institutions. The state-of-the-art buildings will provide an advanced educational and research environment, further solidifying Alfaisal’s reputation both locally and internationally.
The new campus design incorporates two underground parking levels and five upper floors equipped with cutting-edge laboratories, interactive learning spaces, and facilities for international conferences and events. These innovative features will support modern teaching methods and advanced research capabilities, enhancing academic collaboration and communication.
Upon completion, the project will increase the university’s capacity to accommodate more students and launch new academic programs, particularly postgraduate master’s and doctoral degrees tailored to labor market needs. It will also reinforce Alfaisal University’s role as a hub for research and innovation.
