Alfaisal University Female Chess Team Wins 5th Place at the 16th Sports Season Chess Tournament

Alfaisal University Chess Team Secures 5th Place in National University Tournament

The Alfaisal University Chess Team successfully competed in the University Chess Tournament, organized by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation from September 24 to 27, 2025, securing an impressive 5th place overall, while Al Qassim University came 4th.

The competition, part of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation’s 16th Sports Season, witnessed the participation of more than 30 national universities and 140 students. Alfaisal’s team, comprising Mais Altahhan, Reham Amin Saydo, Sara Dabbour, Dania Ahmed, and Saba Siddiqui, achieved this strong finish after competing in a series of challenging games.

The top rankings went to Taiba University (1st place), Hail University (2nd place), and Jeddah University (3rd place).
