Industrial Engineering students visited Almarai dairy and L’usine production plants with their instructor Dr. Abdalla Alrashdan as part of the supply chain course they are currently taking. The students had the chance to observe all the supply chain stages implemented at Almarai facilities. Production Manager; Engineer Olan Dichoso, who supervised the tour, was impressed by the knowledge and the background of the students and he promised to further collaborate with Alfaisal University regarding internship programs and employment opportunities. He offered to schedule visits with his team to Alfaisal campus and further explain Almarai unique supply chain planning and execution to deliver fresh food and drinks almost in the same day produced all over the Kingdom. This opportunity will offer the students a real case study to implement what they have learned in the classroom.
