The College of Business invited Mr. Husam Alaidy to be part of CoB’s Executive Lecture Series.
Mr. Husam commenced the lecture by highlighting the National Transformation programs that were launched by the government of Saudi Arabia as part of Vision 2030 to improve general finance while maintaining economic growth rates. One major program is the non-oil revenue which relies on incomes from taxes, customs, tourism and other activities.
In addition, Mr. Husam elaborated on three major programs:
- Vibrant Society: to secure strong roots, fulfilling lives and strong foundations by focusing on developing people and cities.
- Thriving Economy: to create rewarding opportunities dynamic jobs and long-term investment by having a diversified economy through commitment to education, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
- Ambitious Nation: to focus on accountability, boosting transparency and effectiveness in its governing strategy by expanding digital government, improving governance standards, and investing in human capital development.
The lecture is part of the College of Business Executive Lecture Series. It provides Alfaisal University students and guests from the business community with the opportunity to learn from some of the country’s leading executives and leaders as they talk about their experiences. College of Business sponsors the weekly Executive Lecture Series to bridge the gap between the world of leadership and business education.
