International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) Olympiad Athens World Congress 2023: Second and Third place prize goes to Dr. Sarah Alkhonizy; Alfaisal COM graduate
Our COM internship student Dr. Sarah Alkhonizy participated in the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) Olympiad Athens World Congress 2023 on 31 August – 2 September, a gathering of the world’s foremost experts in aesthetic plastic surgery in Athens, Greece.
Dr. Sarah presented two oral presentations entitled “Effect of Tranexamic Acid on the Reduction of Blood Loss in Craniosynostosis Surgery: A systematic Review and Meta-analysis of 9,739 Craniosynostosis Surgeries” and “Risk of arm lymphedema and arm morbidity after breast reconstruction: a meta-analysis”, where she received a silver medal for winning 2nd place and bronze medal for winning 3rd place for both presentations respectively.
