3rd of February 2026: Alfaisal University launched the first edition of EcoInnovate, the university’s first sustainability exhibition, organized by the MSA Green Team in collaboration with the Sustainability and Strategic Planning Office and the Office of Research and Innovation. The initiative invited undergraduate and graduate students from all colleges to present sustainability-focused ideas through research posters, prototypes, and creative work, highlighting student-led contributions to a greener future at Alfaisal.

Research Poster and Prototype. This track encouraged students to present sustainability-driven research and practical solutions. Participants competed for cash prizes of up to 3,000 SAR, with winning projects receiving the opportunity to continue development and potentially publish their research.
Sustainability Art Corner. This track provided students with a creative platform to express sustainability themes through art. Participants competed for recognition through the “Artist of the Future” Award, with a focus on using sustainable materials.

EcoInnovate was designed to bridge academic research and creative expression with real-world sustainability challenges. By opening participation to students across all colleges, the exhibition created a dynamic space for sustainability to be explored through research, design, prototypes, and the arts.
The collaboration between the MSA Green Team, the Sustainability and Strategic Planning Office, marks an important step in embedding sustainability more visibly into campus life. As the first edition of EcoInnovate, the event sets a foundation for future student-led environmental leadership and continued dialogue on sustainability at Alfaisal University.
